Here’s yet another Winter Storm Update. Posted only 3 days after the last one! February is setting up to be very active. I am currently tracking at least four winter systems within the rest of Feb. Phil seems to be correct in his prediction for this year.
This storm will see similar impacts to the last storm that came through. Most of the Northern Pittsburgh Metro is looking at up to 0.1″ of freezing precipitation. The ridges are looking at 0.25-0.5″. Travel will be dangerous during this precipitation. Expect slippy conditions and allow extra space between yourself and the vehicle in front of you. Isolated utility disruptions are possible as well.
The next system to come through looks to be around Feb 12 to 13. As always, stay tuned for updates!
