This is my second forecast for the total snowfall for the upcoming winter storm headed for our area. Currently there are Winter Storm Watches in effect for areas south of I-70. South of the PA border into WV, there are Winter Storm Warnings. More areas will see advisories and warnings within the next 24 hours. This system has been all over the place with the model data coming through. It has been really hard to pinpoint the track and intensity. I am leaning more towards the higher end snowfall amounts, but that can quickly change tonight. I will most likely make an updated graphic in the morning after the 06Z and 12Z runs come out. This will likely have some major impacts on travel on Monday. Frigid temperatures will likely freeze any slush and blown snow on the roadways. Limit your travel on Monday. If you have to leave, make sure you have a plan in place. Always keep extra layers in your vehicle along with an emergency kit. Keep an eye on my social media pages in the event something rapidly changes.
