An Alberta Clipper will affect our region tonight into tomorrow morning. This will bring some snowfall and freezing rain to some areas throughout Western Pennsylvania. The bulk of it will move through by 5am on December 24th. The graphic pictured above shows the higher-end snowfall. This snowfall may stick initially, but will be short-lived as temperatures are expected to rise above freezing throughout the day. Freezing rain and ice are expected along the ridges. This may cause some slick roadways and isolated power outages. Ice accumulation is expected to be <0.1″. Again, temperatures are expected to rise above freezing throughout the day. Travel may be impacted in the early morning. Winter Weather Advisories are in-effect for the following counties: Armstrong, Butler, Cambria, Clarion, Fayette, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, and Westmoreland.
