Areas under the Cold Weather Advisory: Tuscarawas [OH], Carroll [OH], Columbiana [OH], Coshocton [OH], Harrison [OH], Jefferson [OH], Muskingum [OH], Guernsey [OH], Belmont [OH], Noble [OH], Monroe [OH], Mercer [PA], Venango [PA], Forest [PA], Lawrence [PA], Butler [PA], Clarion [PA], Jefferson [PA], Beaver [PA], Allegheny [PA], Armstrong [PA], Washington [PA], Greene [PA], Westmoreland [PA], Fayette [PA], Indiana [PA], Hancock [WV], Brooke [WV], Ohio [WV], Marshall [WV], Wetzel [WV], Marion [WV], Monongalia [WV], Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston [WV], Preston [WV] What: Windchill values as low as -22 are expected. Impacts: With windchills as low as -19, frostbite can set in within 30 minutes on exposed skin. Limit time outdoors. Hypothermia is also a major risk for these cold temperatures. Extended cold temperatures can freeze pipes. Make sure your pipes are properly insulated to protect from bursting.

Areas under the Extreme Cold Warning: Westmoreland Ridges [PA], Fayette Ridges [PA], Higher Elevations of Indiana [PA], Eastern Preston [WV], Western Tucker [WV], Eastern Tucker [WV] What: Dangerously cold windchills as low as -28 are expected. Impacts: Frostbite can set in within 30 minutes. Limit time outdoors. Insulate your pipes to avoid freezing.
