Here is your upcoming 7 Day Forecast!
Early Week
Sunday will return to the 60s and bring lots of sunshine. A chilly night will close out this weekend. Monday will get back up into the 70s and bring more sunshine!
Severe threat tuesday
As of now, the Storm Prediction Center has outlined a 15% risk for Tuesday. Instability along a frontal zone will support some organization into multicellular or possibly supercell storms. A greater severe threat will exist across the eastern Great Lakes where forcing and shear will be strongest. A 75 knot jet streak looks to cross southern Ontario. What does that mean for us? If the jet streak stays over southern Ontario, we will have a smaller chance for severe weather. We still will see storms, but they may not meet severe criteria. If the jet streak shifts south towards us, we will have a much higher probability of an all hazards severe event. We will be keeping a close eye on this system and how it progresses over the next few days. Expect an analysis Sunday Evening or Monday Morning.
Mid-week
Following this system, we will have a quick break before more storms on Thursday. Confidence is very low this far out with nailing down exact threats, but this will be monitored as well.
End of the week
Expect rain showers on Friday as the second system exits our region. Temperatures will dip back down into the 60s with chilly evenings going into the weekend.
Stay tuned for severe weather updates this week as we have two possible systems coming through.
