Early Week
Today we have a Marginal Risk for severe weather. This threat will come in the late afternoon and evening. The main risks for our area are damaging wind and marginally severe hail. A tornado or two may be possible. Here are the risks as stated by the Storm Prediction Center (SPC):
Tornado: 2%
Damaging Wind: 5%
Large Hail: 5%
There is a rather low overall risk for today, but this can change very quickly.
Mid-Week
Very nice weather will take hold for the mid portion of this week. Highs in the 70s and 80s. This will be a great opportunity to get the yard work started for the year!
End of the Week
Friday we can expect to see some thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Some of these storms may be severe. Updates on this system will come closer to the end of the week.
Saturday we can expect numerous rain showers. No severe storms are expected at this time.
